SUBMISSION OF PAN AND BANK DETAILS

Securities and Exchange Board of India vide Circular SEBI / HO / MIRSD / DOP1 / CIR / P / 2018 / 73 dated April 20, 2018, to strengthen the standards for Share Transfer Agent (RTA) has mandated the RTA’s of all the Companies to take special efforts to collect copy of PAN and Bank Account details from all the Shareholders holding securities in physical form.

In view of the above the Shareholders shall submit a copy of PAN and original cancelled cheque bearing the name of the Shareholder or a copy of bank passbook /statement attested by the bank with in 180 days from the date of the circular.

Please note that the Shareholders who are unable to provide PAN and bank details within the prescribed time limit, shall be subjected to enhanced due diligence in case of any request for transactions received from such folios.

The Company, for the purpose of exercising enhanced due diligence, shall call for documents related to proof of identity/address, PAN and bank details , and such other additional procedures that would enable the Issuer Company to reasonably satisfy itself about the genuineness of the request.

We have to inform you that the Resolution Professional of Nagarjuna Oil Corporation Limited (NOCL) has filed an Intimation before Hon'ble NCLT, Chennai on April 20, 2018 communicating the decision taken by the Committee of Creditors of NOCL to go for liquidation.

The Company holds 46.78% of the equity share capital in NOCL which is involved in setting-up a refinery at Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu.

NORL holds 46.78% of the equity share capital in NOCL which is involved in setting-up a refinery at Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu.

The company shall be entitled to take any proposal before the IRP during the period of six months or such extension that may be permitted in the event an Investor is identified to take the project forward.

Update on NETOIL

Netoil (Singapore) (PTE) Limited (Netoil) was undertaking Confirmatory Due Diligence of Nagarjuna Oil Corporation Limited (NOCL) involved in setting-up a 6 million tones refinery at Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu (Project) where the Company holds 46.78% of the equity share capital so as to enable Netoil acquire the equity capital in NOCL in order to take forward the Petroleum Refining Project of NOCL.

The Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held on February 4, 2016 have unanimously resolved not to pursue the matter any further with Netoil.

Further the Board of Directors of the company also noted that the Company is in discussion with various potential Investors who have shown interest in investing in the Project

The company is taking steps with the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange for commencement of trading of the equity shares.
